4 Nixon Ogilvie Republican campaign buttons and 2 Ogilvie buttons.  Richard Ogilivie was the incumbent governor of Illinois but lost this election to Dan Walker.
For those of you from Illinois, he got the ball rolling for state income tax (per Wikipedia):

. The latter was particularly unpopular with the electorate, and Ogilvie lost a close election to

in 1972, ending his career in elective office.
